Spiritually Speaking... Locating The Source of Healing Within...

Sheila Bautz's writing style explores the depths of various issues that address the human condition, spirituality, environmental concerns and nature writing. She has written articles on diverse topics for newspaper, print and on-line magazines. From 2000 to 2001, she wrote a bi-weekly column entitled, Spiritually Speaking, for a local newspaper (Neighbors) with a readership of 50,000. At the request of her readers, in December of 2001, she self-published a collection of her inspirational articles, entitling the book Spiritually Speaking... Walk in Beauty.

In addition, Sheila has been profiled and interviewed by different forms of media, including newspaper and radio. In 2008, the Saskatchewan Writer's Guild profiled her in the September issue of freeLance. Sheila is also a motivational speaker, has led various workshops and is a Reiki Master.

In 2008, Sheila began preparing a powerful non-fiction book that addresses the controversial issues, legal aspects and human conditions surrounding work-place fatalities in Canada. Taking brief intervals away from this project allows Sheila to continue to further develop and/or outline other writing and artistic projects. Such projects include: a fantasy novella; a manuscript of poetry and poetic prose with a strong spiritual theme; detailed outlines of a historical novel as well as a poetic work honoring strong women; drafts for various mainstream articles, personal and lyrical essays.
