Body Mind Spirit Magazine >  Edition Fifteen

Editorial

This month's theme is death. While many people view death as an ending, I perceive death more as "change." Even in tarot decks, the death card represents a "personal letting go" or "shedding of the old to make way for the new." I see death as a change from physical existence to spirit, and I think the reason so many people fear death is because no one ever comes back from death to share how wonderful it is ... or do they?

IANDS directs our focus to the experiences of people who have "clinically died" and then lived to share their experiences with others. Fortunately, their work brings a great deal of comfort to millions of readers worldwide. I hope their words provide comfort to BMS' readers as well.

We have wonderful writers this month all sharing their knowledge and experiences with us. I hope you find what you need in this issue and take the time to share it with your loved ones as well.

As with all changes, one is also happening here. This is my last issue with Body Mind Spirit.

I thank all of you for coming online every issue to view the fruits of my labor over these past years but specifically this last year. Putting the magazine together has brought me so much joy. I found something which makes my heart sing ... so now it's time for me to make my music elsewhere, and welcome Jeni Mayer back on board as Editor at Body Mind Spirit to sing her song here again.

I thank you Jeni, for allowing me this wonderful experience. You have provided me with such a wide range of opportunities during these magical years here with Body Mind Spirit ~ first as a writer, then columnist, guest editor, and finally as Production Editor. Your faith in me has shone a wonderous light. These opportunities have assisted me to see my path. Your guidance, assistance and encouragement has enabled me to walk this new path, embarking on the next step of my journey, as I leave Body Mind Spirit to start my own online publication, Timeless Spirit Magazine.

So I pass the torch back to you Jeni and thank you for showing me mine.

Much light, Aleesha Stephenson.
