Trust is the Name of the Game |

In today's world of tremendous change - values, relationships, lifestyle, employment and sense of safety and direction, we must have new reference points in our life. We need to change our perception in order to find our way and manage our personal world so we can feel safer to trust ourselves to make decisions and take action in our life. This is not a personal issue; this is a collective experience supporting transformation. I remember, October of 1978, feeling so sad, standing on the street corner with my baby, waiting for the light to change. We were going walking. I was seeking the comfort of nature. I felt so displaced living in central Denver, having lived all my life in the country and the last 3 years in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. As I stood there in the middle of the city, feeling the heaviness of change, I spontaneously said, out loud . . . . "I want to feel happy" and like a window shade snapping loose, my heaviness lifted. I was so stunned. How could this happen? What happened? Having lost the heaviness in my body, I had to stand on that corner and regain my balance, before I felt safe enough to cross the street. Thank goodness, I was reading Erroneous Zones by Wayne Dyer and his theme in the book is that we can influence and direct our emotions. This had never been my experience in my life - until this moment. The rest of my walk I was adjusting and accepting that the words in this book were real and possible, I had just experienced one of the most amazing changes in my life, from a simple request. As a Pisces, always swimming deeply in the sea of consciousness, this was a first and a major change in reference and reality for me that became a cornerstone for developing my strength and emotional foundation that has served me so powerfully to this day. * What you can recognize you can direct. * What you can feel you can heal. These two phrases have become part of my reality base. If my conscious mind can and will look at anything in my life, I can put myself in a position of choice using all my recognizable resources, and choose again. Every choice I make creates change and movement. Are you monitoring the direction and influence of your choices to make sure you are going in the direction of your desire and intention? This is not complicated and it does require consistent conscious attention if we want the results that you say you want. Emotions are not static. They are like the weather. . . . .constantly changing. If we all responded emotionally to the weather changes the way we have been taught to respond to emotions, we could feel frozen in fear or run around aimlessly, without a clue of what to do, feeling victimized by the constantly changing weather. Or we can accept the changing weather as part of our life and learn how to accommodate and relate to the change, creating as much comfort and safety as possible. Emotions are Divine Power for transformation and change. If your personal relationship with your emotions is one of fear, you set in motion a constant power struggle with your mind being forced to "take over" and manage this "unknown" power. When in fact, if you give yourself permission to feel safe with all of your emotions by feeling them, you can heal the pain, trauma, resentments, fear of being loved and or rejected. . . .. .all the emotions that we humans are capable of. We are designed to move the energy of emotion as we experience it rather than storing it. Emotions keep us present in the moment we are living. Our mind attaches to the past, the last time we felt this way, and drags it into this moment, refusing to allow this feeling or this moment to be a different experience. Your real strength and balance happens when your mind and feelings have a living, loving relationship with each other, trusting this union to have the ability to meet all of life's challenges and continue to breath and take steps of action to create the necessary and desired change you are seeking. Life might be one big movie and we still live it and create it, one choice at a time. Remember that being still is neither a bad thing nor a waste of time. .. standing on the street corner for even a moment changed my life forever. We could have years of conversation about these changes that started that day and I would like to share with you some major highlights that have continued to guide and strengthen my life: ® Become a conscious resident in your physical body. This is your primary relationship, above all others. No matter where you move, you are still living in your body, this earthly temple, which is designed to be your clearest and closest messenger of Divine Order. If you will take the time to learn the energy language of your body and emotions and their direct relationship with the Universal Order, you will open up to a world that lives inside of you that reflects the infinite world in all life. ® Become a conscious director of your body, mind and emotions Who's in charge when you drive your car? Who's in charge when you wake up everyday and recognize you are still alive and breathing? Who's in charge as you move your body all around the planet, everyday? If not you, who? ® Live in acceptance and gratitude I choose how I will meet my day and every experience in it. If I live in blame and judgment, I have set up the magnetic field around me from within my own body to create my day. If I choose to accept life and the incredible blessings that are mine, breath first, then I can meet each experience and KNOW it is a part of a Divine Order, because I AM.
