In 1987, Hay House was incorporated, expanding into a full-scale publishing company.

Hay House was originally based in Santa Monica, California, and nine years ago moved to Carlsbad, California, a beach community 30 miles north of San Diego. Over the last few years, Hay House has grown from approximately 30 employees to approximately 60 full-time staff members.
