Angelspring is a spiritual retreat, in the broadest meaning of the words.

It is also a bed and breakfast and wellness retreat, specially chosen for its solitude and regenerative natural surroundings. Located in lovely Fayette County (USA), it is situated on gently sloping Pennsylvania farmland.

Angelspring is made up of a small farmhouse, a cozy retreat building, and some outbuildings, including Chapel in the Barn located amid semi-wooded acreage, and a meditation pond (scheduled completion 2005).

At Angelspring you experience the peaceful ambience and healing of the natural world in the 111 acres of fields and woods. Individuals enjoy personalized attention when they stay in The Granary, the guesthouse.

Since 1995 Angelspring has also specialized in personal and professional development of the whole person, with attention to retreats and wellness. Angelspring is dedicated to providing excellent human potential and wellness-based education and experiences, both on- and off-site. Guests take advantage of the simple countryside retreat atmosphere and opportunities that facilitate solitude, rural warmth, and spiritual guidance to renew the body, relax the mind, and rejuvenate the spirit.

Sister Charleen Pavlik and Karen Evanczuk , the owners and directors of Angelspring, both have extensive backgrounds in stress management and wellness, and trauma and crisis counseling. Although Angelspring is a wellness retreat and not a hospital or inpatient/outpatient facility, guests who have experienced and live with trauma find themselves welcome here, where they can enjoy solitude, wellness and spiritual development (Angelspring is open to all spiritual traditions), hiking, therapeutic massage, and a relaxing stay in a lovely rural setting.

Both Charleen and Karen have used music therapeutically in their work at Angelspring. They recently recorded their first professional CD: A Shelter of Wings: Music for Healing, Meditation, Prayer and Relaxation.
