1972 saw the founding of Still Point Interfaith Retreat for All People by a Dominican nun, Sylvia Rosell, OP. Sr. Sylvia's vision was to found a contemplative house which honored people of all faiths and was in harmony with the earth.

The story of Still Point is long and involves changes both globally and locally at Still Point. Despite continued financial insecurity and difficulties Still Point has endured as an interfaith presence which honors mother earth and people from all walks of life. It offers programs and retreats. Accommodations Include:

• Retreat facilities for up to 5 individuals
• Group facilities for up to 35 individuals (no overnight accommodations)
• Solitary retreat experience in hermitage (fully winterized) / spiritual companioning
• Labyrinth, Native American Medicine Wheel, Stations of the Cross, nature trail, fresh water pond on grounds for swimming
• Massage, Yoga by VHS, and Qi Gong periodically, Meditation, Reiki.
• Beautiful natural environment

Facilities include a large WELCOMING HOUSE , with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and two large spaces for groups, located at the far ends of the grounds, free of any disturbances. Both spaces are heated with a wood stove. A large room is used for rituals, meetings, yoga, another space is for dining. In addition there are 2 small sitting rooms.
