Advice To Others Like Me

It is hard to understand your own awakening, and it has taken me over 15 years. I have been married to a beautiful woman, mother and spiritual mentor. We have a family and we have had many adventures, somethings I have been on board with and other that I have not.

It was not un till just recently that I realized my place in this work of New Age Spirituality. My wife a women that some may know as Dr. Patti "Diamondlady" Diamond, DD has been writing books and articles for many years. I have supported her from a distance and this has not always been the right approach. This is why I'm writing this article, it was not that I didn't understand my place, but I had stepped in my own space of being. You many not agree with everything that your partner is doing, but you need to provide a space for them to grow.

You do not have to give up yourself, but allow them space and show them that you care. Listen to them, respect them and let them share their passion and dreams. There are going to be some things that you do not want hear or even understand, but there is a vision that all of us have and things that we need to meet within each of us. Give your support freely with out conditions, of course, there are ways some boundaries that we all have, but work together to meet yours and your partner's passions. Money and time are always issues in all of our lives; this should not stop either of your growth.

These words should not just be taken for their spiritual content, but they can be seen in everything that we do with one another, with your partner, family, friends and co-workers etc. Take the time to connect now and understand one other before a door of opportunity closes.
