Consegrity Comes to Canada |

Boxes. They come in various sizes, shapes and colors and can be used for an assortment of things. Boxes also come in various forms in life. While boxes create security, they also define how we see ourselves, others and life's situations and possibilities. Consegrity takes our boxes, honors their part in the process of life then dismantles them and reveals a much larger view outside the confines of those boxes. Consegrity as a word comes from combining terms which, in essence, define what Consegrity is as a therapy: Mind - Conscious Awareness...Body - Tensegrity (the ability of cells to balance tension and compression) of the cell...Spirit - Consilience, All Knowing. As a therapy, Consegrity acknowledges that we are electromagnetic in nature and relies on the Inherent Wisdom of the body for the healing process. energy of trauma (physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological or environmental) gets "stuck" and accumulates within the connective tissues surrounding cells, causing the DNA within those cells to lock up. DNA tells the cells how to rebuild and repair, but once that is locked up, cells either degenerate, die or create new cell lines such as cancer and other tumors. Consegrity removes this accumulated energy. Consegrity therapy was developed by Mary Lynch and Debra Harrison in Wichita, Kansas. Based on over 25 years of experience as a trained orthopedic surgeon working in Sports Medicine, Mary diligently observed and recorded what worked and did not work with her patients. Over the last 10 years, Mary, Debbie and their staff have tested and retested this wellness model with their clients, and a year and a half ago, once they realized how profound this work is, they began teaching it. The purpose of a session can be summed up in the ancient Tibetan saying, "I have eyes to see you; I need a mirror to see myself." The role of the therapist is to BE a mirror for the client, guided by the client's Inherent Wisdom. A session, usually an hour in length, is conducted with the fully clothed client on a table, with the consegritist beside the table, and is usually done in silence. Occasionally the therapist will be directed to touch the client on or off the body. The therapist's hand is the tool, and by accessing the client's individual frequency (energy) pattern, the therapist is guided by Yes-No responses, adjusting "the mirror" as needed. Since this work accesses the energy pattern of the person, sessions can be done across the miles; personal contact is not required. Boxes in my life have been opened wide. As both a patient and a therapist, I have experienced incredible healing and growth. Consegrity is profound and life changing work. No matter how big we think our boxes are, they still obscure the view. Many of the wonderful things in my life include family, friends, teaching grade 3 and 4, hiking, camping, cycling, gardening, reading and Consegrity.
