The Evolution of Karma in 2001

The captain at the wheel of your ship is your soul.

This is the "divine kernel" of true essence residing in the nucleus of your spirit.

The year 2001 has shown us that we have much soul work to do. This may not be an easy task as we are navigating turbulent times. The purpose is to master the health of our consciousness. What will be of most importance is what happened in your past. This reference to the past is both to past events in this life as well as anything of relevance from past lives.

This stage in human evolution threatens to break down structure. Structure is the life you have built for yourself as well as what we experience as a social norm. Being forced to make a change feels like a loss, but try to think of it as ridding the soul of karma, and the creation of a truer path. Between now and February of 2002 we are bound to confront the need to face anything from transition to a total rearrangement of how we believe ourselves to be and how we live our lives. The test is to overcome fear, become more self-reliant and confident. Learn that anything is possible if you believe in yourself. Where the ability to choose for ourselves is for some reason not possible or not considered, sudden and unexpected change can realign our relationship to life to better suit the soul.

The status quo is dissolving; the security consciousness of our elders following WWII is shattered. If you have not been actively seeking a source of faith throughout your life, or if you need to learn to believe in yourself, it is likely you will now. The old structures of national or international exchange need to be rebuilt too. Our approach to business and commerce needs to change. It isn't an accident that the holy war against greed, power, consumerism's consumption, and permissiveness, is aimed at balance. For 2-3 years now we have been preparing for an economic downturn.

The terrorist's attack of September 11th, 2001 brought the truth to the surface very quickly. The authorities that keep the economy available to an upward thrust were unable to control the depressive trend. The bubble burst. It is more likely to be a short-term economic reversal this time with long-term results. 2003 is a year that sees the creation of new trends, agreements and economic structures so we can look forward with hope to 2004 that will bring the economy into a new norm. But for now; anywhere humankind or the individual does not learn on their own, they will learn through forces beyond their control. So in the spirit of making something bad into something good, you can welcome the change you are forced to make, because in the end it will lead you to greater fulfillment. Just don't be the one forcing the event because that will only lead you to a greater burden of karmic repercussion.

On the positive side, we are all being given the opportunity to come to terms with value and resourcefulness. For those who can't live up to a higher value, and can with indifference deeply hurt others, there is no going home. Forces beyond their control will free people to move beyond their rootedness. With the status quo shattered, we more readily able to commit to making creative change. Without this stimulus we may have sat, complacently indulging our self-centred expectations on a path of tunnel vision.

There can be much suffering involved in transformation if we are not ready to embrace change willingly. If you find yourself in this state, it is crucial to individuate creatively. All you need to do is start with a change of mind. This will lead you to acceptance that every human is a part of all that resides in incarnated spirit. We have many, many lives on earth in the process of refining our soul. In each of these lives we have inched our way forward on the spiral of evolution. Because we are free to be what we choose to be or do what we will, we could have been any or all of the types of people we have come to know about in this life. There is no doubt we could have killed or created terror for another in one of our primal lifetimes. All that keeps the human spirit from acting on all levels of exchange, the good, bad or ugly, is agreeable civility and self-control.

These characterisations are very dramatic. A person may have a more subtle need to refine the soul, which is more difficult to fathom. By doing the right thing, by being the best you can be and a good person while taking charge of things and being responsible for yourself, you can't loose. The things that stand in the way of the soul's individuation and self-realisation are; intolerance, envy, greed, doubt, fear, acquisitiveness, selfishness, thoughtlessness, negative thoughts and actions. In order to reach the plateau of soul growth and self-realisation that can be of service one has to learn to share. Learn to live with love not be afraid.

The experiences brought about during 2001 to invite soul change may be some of the most confusing confrontations you are likely to face. But think how important this time is. Rise to the occasion and prepare to face your future. Take hold and steer toward getting on with what has to be done. Truthful co-existent action manages a strong rebuilding. The unexpected merely fragments the productivity to call attention to a preferable perspective. As upsetting, chaotic and fragmented as change can be, wait for the surprising sense of renewal and empowerment in this transition. It will be like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow as it signals the end of the storm. But more importantly, having your molecules stirred up you have the opportunity to alter or tailor your soul and create a better next life whether it be in the arms of the realms of everlasting spirit, or another incarnation here on earth.

Try not to get wrapped up in limitation, too narrow a focus and it will be easier to pass through the experience. If you find yourself hesitating at the threshold of what you must do, have courage. Believe in yourself, reinforce your relationships of a true and faithful character, and become resiliently resourceful. Weed out those questionable associations and become more self-sufficient. Be mindful of your needs as they go through this change. You will find it easier to let go of things you never thought you could live without.

Awareness of the global insecurity is a necessary vehicle for processing your individual growth. Mindless waste of consumables or natural resources, and self-centred passivity is an indulgence the globe cannot afford. Can you sleep while a high percentage of humans have been reduced to vagrancy? Can we continue to look at homelessness as the punishment these people deserve? Have you delivered the guillotine of justice to others in your own way? Opinionated or judgmental attitudes tend to exclude. Where will the axe fall when it is your turn to receive what you have given? Steer clear of those who are insensitive and indifferent. We need not live with the limitations of cause and effect. All we need to do is take responsibility for our thoughts, attitudes, opinions, who and what we expose ourselves to and reduce judgment. No human is perfect; we are all on the wheel of life to experience the events that are designed for the soul to learn by. Certainly we are the creators of some of these events by what we think, say or do and the manipulation of how others react. But we can stop this knee-jerk reactionary characteristic and thereby eliminate the veracity of causing an event for a hoped-for effect.

Be direct; confront each challenge or action with integrity. When you experience others who are undesirable company with questionable intentions and motives, leave them with a positive thought, but most importantly be on your way. By understanding how others operate you can avoid any consequence without the need to condemn. All of humankind is merely acting on their will to choose freely. Through understanding you avoid becoming a facilitator or victim, you are instead a bystander and observer who can offer a multi-dimensional perspective, alternatives and possibilities if asked.

Aries/Libra: Those born with the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Midheaven or planets in Aries or Libra have some difficult reversals in 2001. Relationship circumstances can be interfered with. There may be others manipulating the puppet strings. This will happen by turning the negative into a positive. Any positive action taken in 2001 will bring impressively confident results. The social processes had lost touch with universal life and humanity must develop a transpersonal sense of responsibility. Disappointed and disillusioned, the individual must courageously face the emptiness created by having what we cherish the most vanish. Each of us will learn through whatever emotional crisis we are trying to manage. Those with strength of character and personal integrity will be further empowered by resilience because they try to do their best.

Virgo/Pisces: The Virgo and Pisces Sun signs, or those with the Moon, Ascendant, Midheaven or planets in these signs should prepare to take full advantage of the social opportunities that come your way. If you have earned it this can be a time for honours, social prestige and well managed financial status. But the underlying influences compelling the collective are oppressive. Through this polarity what is revealed is that initial evaluations are likely to be faulty and a premature revolt will eventually incarcerate the perpetrator. You don't have to be a Virgo or Pisces to experience this. Generally speaking, those who are not governed by moral restraint may find themselves in hospital or otherwise isolated. Each and every human will reap what he or she has sown in a collective as well as individual sense. The instruction received in 2001 will create a new commerce. In the future there will be new constructive interaction between people, and an interchange of the products of social activity through mutually beneficial bargaining and trade agreements.
