In the past year, I have rarely planned a theme for each issue. For the most part, I've learned to trust in the collective unconscious. It's amazing how often this results in a well-rounded publication. This issue, I assure you, is no exception. Once again we did not have a theme in mind when we began to compile the articles. Nonetheless, a theme did develop on its own as it always seems to do. This issue is most predominantly about clutter. Or should I say cleaning up clutter from out lives, our minds and our spirits. Perhaps it's just that time of the year when people are focusing on the New Year and reaching for some of their many goals and aspirations. And as all of us know, this requires some housekeeping--both literally and conceptually. The February edition of Body Mind Spirit Magazine will help you to do just that. Gisela Ko shares a wonderful story from her not-so-distant past -- a story about the abuse she endured and how she cleaned it from her life and her soul. Doug Delong takes another approach to the concept of changing direction in our lives by teaching us to open up our chakras to spiritual enlightenment. John Tozeland shows us how to reach the core of our existence, while Tanis Helliwell guides us in the art of working with our flow. And another not-to-be missed article is "Integrity, Honesty and Truth. Aleesha Stephenson's inspiring story shows us how to find these all-important qualities in our own lives. These are only some of the wonderful articles that are a part of this issue of Body Mind Spirit Magazine. I hope that you will take the time to read them and, at this special time of year, take the opportunity to clean up, clear out and clarify all that is important to your own health and well-being. Namaste,
