Living Magically: The Life and Times of a Witch in the 21st Century

I have a little experiment that I would like to invite you all to participate in.

I have been doing this in my own life and I found that many of my relationships have become deeper and more truthful.

I have been attempting to fully experience all of my emotions with people....pausing for a moment to relish the feeling of love, respect, compassion and truth.

I choose to push those feelings beyond my current experiences and take them one step further.

So here's the experiment. As you go through your day try to pull in as much joy and happiness out of every single experience.

As you hold your child in your arms, look into her eyes and tell her that you love her. Don't just say it, feel it.

When you pet your dog, feel yourself loving him and spend just one more minute that you were going to, petting him.

When you say goodbye to your wife, hubby, partner, take one extra second to just stare into their eyes and feel the love that you have for them. Really feel it. Let the feeling take over your entire heart chakra (between your breasts). Allow the full force of your love to totally encompass you for that one moment in time.

As you order your morning coffee, tell the assistant on the other side of the counter that you appreciate them working at this place so that you can fill your need for coffee. Let them know that they matter to you, even if it's in a small way, let them know. Just because they only touch your life for a brief moment doesn't mean that you can't make that moment last longer, leaving more positive light in their life. Can you imagine their day after 200 customers all thank them for being there? That would be a day that would stand out in their mind for a long time, perhaps forever. You have the power to make that a reality everyday!

After you've completed this little experiment, do it again. Do it over. Start again and this time feel it more. Don't just do it once and then let it end, instead, practice this for an entire day and then the next and the next.

Print out this article and paste it up on your cupboard so every time you make a meal, you remember to nourish your soul as well. You will see it and remember that you need to "feel" more.

Use an old lipstick and write the words "I feel more" on every mirror in your house. This way you will be reminded to experience more life each and every moment of each and every day.

I heard once if you can do something for a month it becomes a habit. Let's all see if we can make this "feeling more" a habit. I would love to see us all experience the love we feel for others in a bigger way than we have been.

Now, I'm not saying that we aren't feeling love for each other... no, not at all. What I'm trying to do is to increase that love by just a little bit, and then perhaps, a little bit more. The next thing we know we are living a happier and more fulfilling life. The things that don't bring us joy gently leave our lives and are replaced by the things that do bring us joy. Maybe the humdrum part of our day will cease to be that way because we are finding joy in those moments too!

More smiles on our faces each day is a good thing. More moments of truth and deep feelings is a wonderful gift to give ourselves and all the people that we love.

I want us all to love each other more. I believe that if we allow ourselves to experience love on a deeper level a little bit at a time that we can create a reality for ourselves that is full. The light will shine from our auras and our eyes, and our own personal, unique, beautiful light will light up others.

So, try this with me. Just one moment, one experience. Let yourself feel more, and if you like the feeling, try it again.

Spread your light. Feel your love. Take this moment and make it "more".

blessed be, Aleesha Stephenson
