Dream Quest

Dear Heather,

I'd love to know the meaning of this dream.

My parents won this amazing fabulous penthouse at the top of a building.

It was completely opulent and luxurious- like nothing I had ever seen. I was just so happy for them and for all of us. I knew it meant the end of all of our worries and cares, that life would just be a bed of roses. There was enough room for my parents, my family and my sisters family all to live- in such staggering luxury! I kept thinking, great this is a major area of our life we can forget about, now I can just concentrate on what is really important. The penthouse was quite full of people when Mum showed me around- butler, doorman, cooks, people just touring through the house. I still have an overwhelming feeling of peace and faith since I had this dream.

Thanks,

Butterfly

Dear Butterfly,

The penthouse has to do with lofty ideas. Sometimes this can be like a wish dream, where your subconscious desires the good life for you and your loved ones. There is a caution with any dreams like this that a reality check may be in order about your expectation of life. Make sure you do not live beyond your means or get yourself out on a financial limb etc. Don't let others take advantage of you or your family in any way. To win something means it comes easily, without work or practical procedure etc. You saw it as the end of all worries and that life would be a bed of roses. While this is a wonderful thought, it is not realistic. This dream would be telling you to look at your future and how you hope to get what you want in life. It is a note of caution about how you hope to attain these things without any risky shortcuts. The overwhelming feeling of peace and faith you feel is an indication that you have what it takes within you to achieve grand things that could benefit your family as well as yourself.

A house often represents ones body, so the penthouse would be your mind (on top). It indicates that it is full of the "riches" you need to achieve in life that make you a real winner.

Heather.
