Dream Quest

Dear Heather,

I hope you can interpret this dream that I had recently.

The dream I had was in a canyon.

The road was long and narrow.

I could hear the background noise of some one walking, the sound was shoveling like they were carrying a heavy load ..I could not see my self but could hear my voice. I turned and there I saw a indian man dusty black hat braids black vest white shirt, carrying a baby wrapped in a woven sack cloth which I thought was weird; it had an eagle sewed on it. I gazed at the eagle. It was beautiful. I felt like my heart stopped. As then the indian handed over the baby, he replied "this is for you." I remember shedding tears and my stomach ached. I felt this overwheing urge to say thank you but no words came out. The baby was black haired and brown eyes. Earlier this same indian comes to my dream state and I was climbing a cliff, rocks rolling away as I climb carefully, and as I look down I see people not making the climb and falling down to their deaths. Even the animals are climbing trying to get to higher ground, deer and otters, all kinds. As I almost reach the top I glance to check my footing, then I glance up and look. There is a huge waterfall flooding a valley. I mean big. It was most overcoming. There again I could feel the earth in every step and hear all thats around me, but not see my self. Well, I reach the top and there is that same indian, different clothes dressed in browns, and there is this green tent and campfire. The indian replies "Glad to see you made it," I was worried there for a minute, didn't think you would make it. Then I woke up. Well, its like I'm dreaming, but I feel like its more than that. hopefully you can tell me, I was hoping now that I maybe found someone who can interpret my dreams maybe they will come back to me ..!!! Thank you for reading this

Respectfully Yours,

Diana Brenneke

Dear Diane,

Here is my interpretation of your dream:

The long and narrow canyon road is an image representation of how you see your position in life. To hear someone walking like they are carrying a heavy load is the burden you feel you have physically or emotionally. In the dream you could not see yourself but could hear your voice. This scene relates to your lack of identity of self. To hear your voice is a prompting for you to listen to your intuition. To dream of indians is usually a sign of luck coming your way. Him handing you a baby indicates a project or something coming your way that would be "your baby." Opportunities are open to you. Check things out.

The eagle sewn on the babys wrap is one of the best indications of success with your undertakings. Shedding tears has to do with a release of pressure once you get going. Stomach aches in a dream are actually a positive omen. it is an indication to use gut instinct. When the indian came to you earlier it indicated that opportunity came your way before, but you had doubts which are the rocks falling as you climb the cliff. Looking to see others not making it gets in the way of your success. Don't waste time and energy comparing yourself to others. It will only limit you. The dream of the waterfall is a wonderful indication of a rise in status or money. The "overflow" is abundance. When you reach the top and the indian says "glad you made it" means you will be successful. The "green" tent indicates financial security. The campfire is another lucky omen for finding what "lights your fire." The indian also represents that which is "native" to you or known to you already. Incorporate what you already know into what you want to do for greater success. Cut the distraction or "background noise out of your life. You need to focus with no more side tracking etc."

Good luck.

Heather.
